J.K. Rowling Just Gave The Perfect Advice To A Fan With Depression

“Ask for help. Don’t fight alone.”

J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series and all-round perfect woman, just gave the best advice to a fan who asked her how to deal with depression.

"Could you please teach me how to scare the dementors that have been living under my bed?" the fan wrote on Twitter. "I'm tired of being sad all the time."

As many Harry Potter fans know, the Dementors were created by J.K. Rowling as a metaphor for the depression she suffered during her twenties.
